Participating in Community Chats

L'Oréalistar community chats are your space to connect with other creators, share your love of beauty, collaborate on exciting content, and expand your influence. Chats open at specific times to create an inclusive, positive environment for everyone. To ensure every member feels welcome and safe, please follow our Community Terms, which apply to all comments, images, videos, and other content you share on the L'Oréalistar site.   

 

There will be brand-specific channels (e.g., for Maybelline, Garnier, etc.) and a general chat channel for all L'Oréalistars.

How to Join Community Chats

  1. Check your email for the weekly chat schedules—timings may change week by week and chats aren't always active.
  2. Log in to the platform during an open chat session and navigate to the Community section.
  3. Join a brand-specific channel or the general chat and participate: Discuss beauty topics, collaborate, but always follow the Community Terms to ensure respectful interactions.

✅ Tip:

When you first join L'Oréalistar, you will earn stars for joining your first few chats. Visit the Challenges page to see how many stars you earn and how many chats you need to join.

Community Chat Rules

  • No sharing of sensitive or personal information (e.g., addresses, phone numbers).
  • Respect intellectual property—do not post third-party materials without permission.
  • No hate speech, racism, bigotry, or content promoting harm; keep discussions inclusive and positive.
  • Avoid disparaging L'Oréal, its brands, competitors, or the beauty industry.
  • No solicitation, political/propaganda content, or illegal references (e.g., drug use).
  • No sexually explicit material, harassment, or impersonation.
